Load Trail was founded in Sumner, Texas in 1996. We were still here in 2020 — same county, same roads, same community. That’s not an accident. Northeast Texas isn’t just where we build trailers. It’s home. And when you’re from somewhere, you show up for it.

That’s why Load Trail sponsored the 2020 Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop “Walk in Their Shoes” 5K.

We Build for People Who Work Hard

Every trailer that rolled out of our facilities in Sumner, Sulphur Springs, and Como was built for someone who got up before sunrise and didn’t stop until the job was done. Contractors, ranchers, farmers, operators — people who took pride in their work and didn’t cut corners because what they were doing mattered.

Law enforcement officers run on the same fuel. Long shifts. Physical demands. A commitment to showing up no matter what the day brought. There’s a shared ethos between the people who buy Load Trail trailers and the people who wore a badge in Lamar County — and that connection was a big part of why this sponsorship felt like the right call.

What Adopt-A-Cop Does

Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop connects local businesses, families, and community members directly with the officers who serve them. Through adoption gifts, community events, and visible public support, the organization made sure officers in our county knew they weren’t doing this work alone.

On September 19, 2020 — National Thank a Police Officer Day — Adopt-A-Cop held its “Walk in Their Shoes” 5K in Paris, Texas. The community turned out in blue shirts and filled the streets of Paris in support of local law enforcement. Load Trail was proud to be among the sponsors that made it happen.

Showing Up Is the Point

Load Trail didn’t sponsor that event for the logo placement. We did it because the people who protected Lamar County deserved to know that the businesses rooted here stood behind them — not just in a crisis, but consistently, year after year.

That instinct doesn’t change based on the context. It’s the same reason we stand behind our trailers with the 2-3-2 Protection Plan, the same reason we invest in our dealers, and the same reason we’ve stayed in Northeast Texas for thirty years. You show up for the people who count on you. Every time.

Built Here. Rooted Here.

The communities worth being part of are the ones where people look out for each other. Lamar County Adopt-A-Cop embodied that in 2020 — and Load Trail was glad to stand behind it.
